By choosing one of the four Florida Prepaid College Plan options, you're prepaying tuition and associated fees for either a state university or state college (formerly community college) in Florida. This year's plans now cover the Local Fees and Tuition Differential Fees charged by the schools. However, plan owners from previous years have the option to add plans to cover those costs. Dormitory plans can also be purchased to help reduce expenses for students living on campus. And the Florida 529 Savings Plan is a smart, tax-free way to help pay for other miscellaneous expenses such as textbooks, food and more.
